During our retreats, we serve a buffet style breakfast of fruit, honey, cereals, dairy and eggs. A light buffet lunch consisting mainly of salads and dips is also provided at midday. Dinner is served following the evening practice.
All food is freshly prepared in-house using, as far as possible, locally sourced ingredients. Fruit and vegetables taste gorgeous in the South of France. Our guiding principles are those of sustainability and balance. We take into account the needs of the retreat guests going through a week of regular yoga practice, and try to incorporate their evolving nutritional needs over the week of the yoga holiday. The food will be mostly vegetarian, though we would be happy to include fish or meat dishes on occasion if the guests so desire. We are also happy to cater for special dietary requirements on our retreats. Please let us know your needs in advance.
We would like, as far as possible, for the guests to feel at home in the house during their yoga holiday, to come and go in the kitchen and help themselves to what they need. If you have any special requests, we would be happy to stock up on them before your arrival on your yoga holiday.
A variety of herbal and normal teas, coffee, and fruit are available throughout the retreat. We do not serve alcohol, but guests are at liberty to bring their own and have it in moderation at meals. We ask retreat guests to please respect the no-smoking rule everywhere in the house, including by the pool side and on the veranda. All other intoxicating substances are strictly forbidden at YOGA HOLIDAY FRANCE.
